為加速梅姬颱風災後搶修及復原工作，行政院發言人童振源今（29）日於院會會後轉述，行政院長林全表示，為了讓民眾生活早日回歸正軌，農委會已宣布全台灣都是現金救助和低利貸款的區域，希望協助農民朋友減少損失，加速農村復建。

為了確實了解各地的災情狀況，林全今天取消中午與立法院執政黨立委的便當會，下午前往新竹縣災情中心聽取簡報，並將視察新竹縣122縣道28.8K道路受災情況，以及北埔大湖柿子園農損情形。

林全在院會中表示，由於此次颱風確實造成民眾生活與工作上的諸多不便，為讓民眾生活早日回歸正軌，請相關人員儘速完成維生系統與道路等障礙的排除。

林全並感謝所有在第一線救災的警消、國軍弟兄，還有台電及台水公司人員，在這次全面性風災中不眠不休地進行搶修復原。

林全特別肯定台電此次復電工程人員的辛勞，他說，面對歷年來第2大規模的停電災情，台電同仁全面且普遍性動員冒險搶修，才得以讓電力在短期內大致復原，值得肯定。
